Please complete and forward the attached booking form accompanied with a deposit of $500.00 per person to LUX Voyages or your travel agent. Your completed form and deposit must arrive within 7 days of your receiving our confirmation that we are reserving a place for you. LUX Voyages reserves the right to correct any errors in rates quoted or calculated or any omission made at any time during your booking.


The final balance is due 60 days prior to departure. If the full payment is not received by the due date, a late payment fee of $20 or a cancellation fee may result. Bookings made within 60 days of departure will automatically incur the late payment fees if payment is not received by LUX Voyages within 3 days of booking. Payments by credit cards will incur a fee.


All packages that are inclusive of flights will be subject to airline taxes & fuel surcharges that will be applied from time to time by the airline. These charges will be in addition to the cost of the tour. These fees cannot be waived.


On occasion it maybe necessary to amend the tour arrangements due to operational necessity and we reserve the right to do so at any time (e.g. the airline may reschedule flight departures so the flights may not suit arrangements on the ground).


Prices in the brochures are based on tariffs and monetary rates of exchange at the time of publication and are quoted in Australian Dollars. All prices are subject to currency fluctuation and any changes to the service provider’s tariffs. LUX Voyages will contact our clients and/or travel agents to advise any changes of prices. We will not accept responsibility if your travel agent fails to pass price change information to you. We reserve the right to change our tour prices at any time.


All cancellations must be made in writing to LUX Voyages and will be subject to the following cancellation charges from the date the written cancellation is received;

  1. More than 60 days prior to departure; loss of deposit.
  2. Between 50-59 days prior to departure; 25% of total tour cost.
  3. Between 40-49 days prior to departure; 50% of total tour cost.
  4. 39 days or less prior to departure; 100% of total tour cost.

In the event of a cancellation, any refunds will be less any administration fees including visa fees, transfer fees and any applicable amendment fees. Regrettably cancellation charges and fees cannot be waived. There can be no exceptions. No refund will be made for any unused portions of the holiday after departure date. Please note that employees of any overseas company or staff of LUX Voyages outside Australia are not authorized to make any undertakings to clients in respect of refunds or any other related matters.


All holiday prices are quoted on the basis of a minimum number of 10 adults traveling together in twin share accommodation as stated on each tour. Should the minimum numbers not be met, LUX Voyages reserves the right to cancel, amend or re-cost the tour. In such cases we will endeavour to provide our clients with the best possible alternate or amended tour, or ask for a payment of a reasonable surcharge. If LUX Voyages cancels the tour altogether all received tour cost monies will be refunded in full.


Hotel descriptions featured in this brochure are based on current hotel guides and contractual agreements provided by suppliers. Any facilities described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs are included for general information only and may not necessarily reflect actual routes, locations or services. Hotel room photographs may not be specific to the actual room occupied.


It is a condition of joining one of our tours that clients are adequately insured for the full duration of their travel arrangements including cover for illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellation and curtailments as recommended by LUX Voyages or your travel agent.


It is the clients’ responsibility to avail themselves with information regarding health requirements in the intended country of entry. You should speak with your local GP or department of health about any health recommendations. Clients are required to familiarize themselves with any health requirements specific to the countries visited.


A passport with minimum of 6 months validity is required for passengers traveling to all countries in our program. Visa fees are included for Australian passport holders in all fully inclusive packages. Non Australian passport holders will incur additional fees. If passports are not received by LUX Voyages at the specified time, the client will be required to pay an urgent visa processing fee. Unless stated otherwise, your passport will be returned with final documentation approximately 2 weeks prior to departure. Responsibility for documentation accuracy, passport validity and dispatch of documents rests with the client. LUX Voyages accepts no responsibility for any failure in this respect.


Compensation payments do not apply where performance of our contract with you is prevented by risk or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airport or ports, cancellation or change of scheduled airlines and similar events beyond our control.


Tipping is a firm and expected part of the tourism industry. The nominated tip amount is to be given to your National Escort at the beginning of the tour and they will do all the necessary tipping on your behalf. LUX Voyages will advise the amount required per person as it is dependant on the length of the group tour undertaken. Tipping amounts will be around $6 per person per day based on the tour itinerary length and are subject to change at any time.


Items of personal nature such as incidental hotel charges, telephone calls, room services and the like are at your own expense and must be paid prior to checking out of each hotel. Tour costs quoted exclude items not specifically referred to in the tour description including, but not limited to; travel insurance, airport taxes, excess baggage charges, portage, travel arrangements to and from your home town and departure city, items of a personal nature such as laundry, dry cleaning, beverages, incidental expenses, optional tours/upgrades offered by local land operators, meals (where not specified) & internet charges.


If the client is not satisfied with any aspect of their arrangements, they must immediately inform the guide or National Escort who will assist in resolving the issue at the time. If this is not possible and you wish to lodge a complaint or claim, this must be done in writing with LUX Voyages in Sydney within 30 days of the date of the completion of your LUX Voyages tours arrangements. Relevant receipts or documents and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim.


LUX Voyages (herewith called the Company) acts as a coordinator for all persons taking these tours, in the making of all arrangements for transportation, sightseeing and hotel accommodation. The Company does not own, manage, control or operate any transportation vehicle, any hotel, restaurant or any other supplier of services. All coupons receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and all services are subject to the laws of the country where the services are provided. The Company acts only as an agent for the owners contractors and suppliers of transportation and/or other related travel services provided and assumes no responsibility for the loss or damage to baggage or property, no responsibility for any injury, illness or death, no responsibility for any damages or claims howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly from accidents, loss, or damage to person or property, no responsibility for delays, transport failures, strikes, wars and uprisings or acts of God, etc over which the Company has no control.


Tour itineraries and prices in this brochure are accurate at the time of printing and prices are based on USD exchange rates as at Jan 27, 2016. Once a client has paid in full, the price of the tour is guaranteed, subject to any tax changes or levies imposed y any government or any airline. The prices for tours after Feb 01, 2017 are subject to change without notice. The departure dates of tour after Feb 01, 2017 are subject to change due to the airline schedules. LUX Voyages reserves the right to make alterations to itineraries departure dates and prices due to circumstances beyond their control.


Any contract arising with the clients shall be governed by the laws of the state of New South Wales and any legal action arising there from shall be litigated only in the appropriate court having jurisdiction in that claim.
