New Airport Tax payable at Delhi Airport

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) with approval of the Government of India has levied a Development Fee (UDF) at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport with effect 01 March 2009.
The amount is:
• Rs 1,300 per person for all overseas and Indian passengers travelling from Delhi Airport on any International flight.
• Rs 200 per person for all overseas and Indian passengers travelling from Delhi Airport on any Domestic flight.
• Infants are exempt.
The UDF is effective for all air tickets issued on/after 17th February 2009 for travel on or after 01st March 2009. Any tickets issued before 17th February for travel on or after 01st March 2009 from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport will invite UDF cash payments at the airport by passengers.
This amount is to be settled at the GMR counter inside the airport. Payment will be accepted in cash only (No Credit Card facilities). Note:If the tax is not on your ticket, the tax can not be prepaid and must be paid for by the passenger at the airport.
